International Week of the Deaf
The International Week of the Deaf, held annually during the last week of
September, is a global celebration that honors deaf culture, language, and identity. Each year, during the International Week of the Deaf, we hold a campaign showcasing the richness and diversity of deaf culture and
sign language as a central role. The focus is on advocacy and raising awareness about the rights and needs of deaf individuals.
March: World Hearing day
World Hearing Day, observed annually on March 3rd, is an international campaign aimed at raising awareness about ear and hearing care across the globe. This significant day serves as a platform to highlight the importance of
early detection and intervention for hearing loss, as well as the prevention of
hearing-related disorders.
Each year we provide campaigns in this year to raise awareness.
Parent's workshops
Workshops for parents of deaf children provide a valuable platform for support, education, and empowerment and is an important part of the early intervention programs. These sessions serve as educational resources, equipping
parents with information and tools to make informed decisions about their children's upbringing.
Most importantly, these meet-ups empower parents, boosting their confidence and
encouraging active engagement.
